From small repairs to major repairs to fully finished new installations, Hercules Construction will give your drywall project our full attention. The team assigned to your project will be trained and certified full-time drywall installers. All our workers have been carefully housebroken and will seal the work area to contain the inevitable drywall dust, avoid tracking it through your home and will thoroughly clean up at the end of each day.
We install only ⅝” thick drywall on ceilings, instead of the most commonly used ½” material. The extra thickness costs only pennies more, but has several advantages. It is less prone to sagging, especially if installed on 24” centers, and it has better sound proofing qualities. To further assure long life, and reduce nail head “pops” (nail heads backing out and popping through the finished surface), we use only screws to install all of our drywall.
Hercules Construction finishers can apply any final coating you desire, including Venetian plaster, their specialty.
