It's not just frosting that makes up a cake
Carpenters are usually categorized as “rough” and “trim,” with the trim carpenters often viewed as the upper crust of the trade. Certainly, they have developed special skills, but that perception should not overshadow the skill and work of our rough carpenters. Rough carpenters are also specialists, not just “jack of all trades handymen.” Every Hercules Construction carpenter, rough or otherwise, is a skilled tradesman (or woman!).
"Roughing in” a carpentry project is actually a misnomer – much like saying that baking just “roughs in” a wedding cake. If the ingredients aren’t properly measured, if the oven temperature is off or if the wrong pan is used, no amount of artistic frosting is going to result in a quality cake. Good rough work enables very good trim work.
Jon Oen will assign only trained, experienced carpenters to your project. Skilled rough carpenters know that their carefully squared and properly dimensioned work is critical to the finished job. Jon works closely – and daily – with these experts. They review blueprints together, inspect completed work, check deliveries for accuracy and material quality and generally make sure your vision is in focus.
